Canyoning Rio Teixeira
Description
This route is located about 10 km southeast of Arouca, on the northeast slope of Serra da Freita. It is an easy river, suitable for beginners, with the possibility of crossing its main rebounds through abseiling outside and inside the waterfalls, jumping into the water or going down the slope along the banks. It has a length of about 1 km, abseiling around 10 meters high, spectacular jumps (optional), guided abseiling, slides, large pools of clear water and a beautiful natural setting. Its versatility allows an easy adaptation of the activity to the characteristics and expectations of the participants, thus making it an excellent option for beginners as well as for more experienced practitioners.

Program:
Approximate duration of 2:30h. Activity with a medium level of effort, which can be practiced from 6 years of age.
9:00 - Pick up at the place of accommodation;
10:00 - Arrival at the river;
10:30 - Start of the descent;
12:30 - Flying lunch;
15:00 - End of the activity;
16:00 - Drop off at the accommodation location.
Material to bring:
Shorts or bathing suit, Towel, Mountain boots, sneakers or tapeworms to get wet, Change of clothes.
